Who doesn’t love Banana Bread? This classic sweet bread is delicious, especially when it has NO sugar. Yuuum.
Mix up the bananas and eggs together.
Then sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
Add the banana/egg mixture to the flour mixture and stiiiir it up. Then add the walnuts (any nuts will work, or no nuts at all) Next, blend up 3/4 of a cup of dates in your food processor. I tried doing it with a hand blender, and it wasn’t strong enough. Soaking the dates for 2 hours before blending, or boiling for 5 minutes will help them to be softer, therefore blending easier! Stir everything together well and put in a buttered loaf pan 9×5 inches. Bake for 1 hour at 350F

Date Walnut Banana Bread
3 ripe bananas, well mashed
2 eggs, beaten until light
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Add to the first mixture. Then add:
1/2 cup of nut meats, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup of pureed dates
Stir well. Put in buttered loaf pan 9×5 inches.
Bake 1 hour at 350F.
